Terms of service

Last updated: May 9, 2026

Atrium is operated by Ridgeline Labs LLC, a Georgia limited liability company doing business as Atrium ("Atrium," "we," "us," "our"). By using Atrium, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

What Atrium is

Atrium is a service for keeping personal records of non-human subjects: pets, places, objects, practices. You create alcoves to hold them, marks to log what you want to remember, and Atrium generates short written reflections about each alcove on a recurring cadence. The service is offered as-is.

Your account

You're responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for the content saved through your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use Atrium. One account per person.

What you can save

Atrium is scoped to non-human subjects. You agree not to use Atrium to save records about identifiable living humans (other than yourself or incidental references in marks about non-human subjects), about anyone who has asked you not to, or about children under 13.

You also agree not to save illegal content, content that infringes third-party rights, hateful or harassing content, sexually explicit material, others' private information, or malicious code.

We don't proactively review content, but we may remove content that violates these rules and suspend accounts that repeatedly do so.

Your content

You own the content you save. You grant us a limited license to host, store, transmit, display, and process it as needed to run the service. The license ends when you delete the content or your account.

We do not use your content to train AI models or sell it to third parties.

Generated artifacts

Reflections produced by Atrium are AI-generated and may be wrong, awkward, or off-key. They are not professional advice — not veterinary, real-estate, medical, or otherwise. You can dismiss, delete, or regenerate them. You own the reflections produced about your alcoves on the same terms as your saved content.

Tiers and payments

  • Free — one alcove, ten-mark cap.
  • Keepsake — one-time $19 USD per alcove, unlocks that alcove past the ten-mark cap. Non-transferable.
  • Legacy — $99 USD/year, unlimited alcoves and faster cadences on Through My Eyes and View Into the Alcove. Auto-renews annually until cancelled.

Payments are processed by Stripe. You agree to Stripe's terms when purchasing.

Cancellation. Cancel Legacy anytime from Settings; benefits continue until the end of the current billing period. If a payment fails, your subscription enters a 30-day grace window before reverting to Free. Your content remains intact.

Refunds. Subscriptions are non-refundable except where required by law. Keepsake unlocks are refundable within 14 days if the alcove hasn't been used past the ten-mark cap — email legal@atrium.place.

Price changes. Existing Keepsake unlocks are unaffected. Legacy subscribers get at least 30 days' notice before any renewal at a new price.

Account deletion

Deletion from Settings deactivates your account and retains your content so you can return. To request permanent erasure, see the privacy policy.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that materially violate these terms, fail to pay for subscribed services, or risk harm to Atrium or others. Where practical, we'll notify you first. Prepaid fees are non-refundable on termination for cause.

Service availability

We aim for continuous availability but don't promise uptime. The service may be unavailable for maintenance, infrastructure issues, or reasons outside our control. We're not liable for losses caused by interruptions. If we discontinue the service entirely, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice and a way to export your content.

Disclaimers

ATRIUM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OR THAT GENERATED ARTIFACTS WILL BE ACCURATE OR SUITABLE FOR ANY PURPOSE.

You are responsible for keeping your own copies of anything irreplaceable.

Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RIDGELINE LABS LLC AND ITS OFFICERS, MEMBERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUES, DATA, OR GOODWILL.

OUR TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS.

Where applicable law prohibits these limitations, they do not apply to you, and our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify Ridgeline Labs LLC and its officers, members, employees, and agents from any claim, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your violation of these terms, your violation of third-party rights, or your violation of any law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts in Fulton County, Georgia. Consumers retain any rights to local courts and local law that applicable consumer-protection law gives them.

Changes

If we materially change these terms, we'll notify you by email and update the date above at least 30 days before the change takes effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

General

These terms, with the privacy policy, are the entire agreement. If any part is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. You may not assign your rights without our consent; we may assign ours in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
